Photographing a birth.
This is a magical, special and emotional moment for new parents. Just being there, It is an amazing experience.
My first attemt to shooting birth was this past Saturday night with this lovely momma, her husband, baby girl and two amazing midwifes. It was a fast birth, and .... I didn’t make it on time.
I missed it by few minutes. As I run up the stairs, I heard newborn cry.
I still had a chance to take photos of the first moments beetwen the momma and baby.
Shooting a birth can be chalenging with dark and changing light. But I am alredy in love with shooting births!
Cant wait for my next home birth and hospital birth next month!
